    Hi,

    I'm starting out on a complex and exciting PHP/MySql Web Application. In it, I will at various stages of the process, need to input the same bit of data entered by a user into 2 different databases, and into more than one table in each database.

    a) Is this possible?
    b) Is it also possible to search across both databases, and all tables concerned in both tables?

    Thanks

    Will

    It should be possible if you try:

    $mysqllink = mysql_connect("host","user","pass");
    $query1 = mysql_db_query("dbasename1","somequery",$mysqllink);
    $query2= mysql_db_query("dbasename2","anotherquery",$mysqllink);

    Good luck, Peter
