I am new Mysql, I try to install Mysql
on Linux(redhat 6.0), This is I done: >rpm -i Mysql-version.i386.rpm >rpm -i Mysql-client-version.i386.rpm but when I use : > mysqladmin version I got msg: connect to server at 'local host' fail. can't connect local Mysql through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock'. Do I miss something, when I install? have any idea? Thanks David
