What exact file names?

What error exactly?
Keep in mind, you can run this command to save the output to a file:
script -a ~/output

When done, type:
script -q

This will save the output to a file called "output" to your home directory.

Just telling us you've got an error doesn't tell us anything. So please be specific.

when i type:
shell>mysqladmin version
the statement such as follow:
mysqladmin: connect to server at 'localhost' failed
error: Can't connect to local MySQL server through sockets
check that mysql is running and that the socket exists
