Hello

I have apache 1.3.9 win32 install in win98 with php4_0b3 and it works fine!! But the mySQL version winclients-3_22_26 does not work URL always gives me the error "can't connect to mysql server on localhost (10061)
Can anyone help me with this ??

Did you start mysql?

From DOS you can type Cathtomysqlbin mysqld

Of course, substituting your drive and path.

I think when u r using MySql winclients version , u can't find mysqld.exe in your MySql bin directory.
U'd better download a MySql shareware version for windows here: http://www.mysql.com/mysql_w32.htmy

That comes with the win version of mysqld and all the other mysql utilities normally distributed with mysql.

3.0.11 Works with 98 and apache. You can get it from ftp.php.net.
