    MariaDB

    Hello everyone,

Ok currently my company is considering doing the following:

Currently we are using Community Ed. 5.0.51a and purchasing support from Oracle and upgrading to MySQL 5.6.10

    Or

Moving to MariaDB 10.1 and purchase support from SkySQL for MariaDB. Next we would use it's new XtraDB storage engine which is a expanded fork of InnoDB storage engine.

Now my question to the Dev Shed Forums Admins, should questions about MariaDB be included on the MySQL page or because it is it's own Fork of MySQL have it's own seperate forums area?

    Thanks

i doubt you will get the latter, as there just aren't enough topics about it

i would say make sure you put mariadb into the title of your topic (like you did, but maybe a wee bit more than just that, okay?)

Ok sir, I will start all my MariaDB topics with that in the title.

    Thanks for the clarification!
