dear all
i have a dedicated server with mysql installed. on it and around 50 domains (ip addressses created) on it.some of them require mysql database support.how do i grant them access for creating and managing their databases only.i have created a database at root level and then granted permissions for a user .i have tried out the grant statement (at root level)taking a sample userid but though the grant permission is recorded when i log in as that user id and try database manipulation i get an error message 1044 and the message :"access denied " for that user.please reply with any suggestions to my email only. shabbar esskay@nagpur.dot.net.in ------------------ |
