    Question mysql from win32 to linux envirenment


    i have developed a mysql db in win2000 environment. can i use the same db in a linux machine or do i have to re-create it?

    Nothing should have to be changed.. MySQL is the same on Linux.

    Hi...
    If you havent used the myISAM-Table Format you have to go the "DUMP-RECREATE"-way (or changing the existing tables to this format).
    With the myISAM table format your DB-Files should be cross plattform independent...so you only need to copy the files to your LINUX box.
