Hi!
I'm trying to set a new password for the root account of mySQL server (there's none at the moment). But whenever I invoke the password('password') function, mySQL returns a parse error. (I'm using Windows NT Server 4.0. Some help would be appreciated, ------------------ Alexis Bilodeau |

Does the NT version of MySQL have mysqladmin? Why not use mysqladmin to set the password?

I tried mysqladmin, but it doesn't seem to work...
Could you give me the exact syntax? Thanks ------------------ Alexis Bilodeau |
