Hi
I'm new in MySQL, I've installed MySQL in my PC, but I couldn't connect , I've the message like this: error 2002, can't connect to local MySql server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock'(111), I don't know where I could find the file mysql.sock and how could I do to slove the problem, Any one could help me pls, Thanks |

If you look at mine (des) Cannot connect 26 may on this forum it may help - in the end I had to get our server administrators to do it I am still awaiting a report but I reckon its a blocked port thing- when I find out what it is I shall post it here |
