    Querying a utf-8 table for "the" returns "thé", "thè", and "the".

    How can I query for one word and not get the others?

    SELECT *
    FROM `word`
    where name = 'the'
    LIMIT 0 , 30

    //ENGINE=innodb DEFAULT CHARSET=utf8;
    Thanks,
    Dan
