Hi all,
I want to set up a form whereby the user makes a selection using either check boxes or pull down scroll and return a text file to the screen. I know how to do the first part, but am not sure how to do the latter. Any help would be greatly appreciated. John |

This isn't specifically a MySQL question.
You need to learn Perl or PHP to do this. MySQL is just a back-end database for storage, it can't actually generate pages by itself. If you want to start with Perl, get yourself the book Perl and CGI for the World Wide Web by Elizabeth Castro which is the best total beginner's guide. Search for it on Amazon.com. |
