Send email & attachment to MySQL

This is part MySQL, PHP and Email so I will start at the db.

I want to setup an email account for receiving faxes via a fax-to-email service. This will send all emails as a pdf.

I want that email account to have all the items sent to it automatically imported into a MySQL table.

How do I get the email piped into the db?
