I'm new to mysql but I am pretty fluent in SQL. I want to simply create a table ... the problem is that I do not know if mysql supports the data types I want to use. I need an integer and varchar and boolean. Also, I need an non-auto increment index. Usually done with "create unique index index_name on table (field_name)" Is it the same syntax?

    Yeah, pretty much....

Check http://www.mysql.com for documentation regarding syntax.

    Good Luck!
