I have installed all MySQL packages since I intended to develop C api's . The server package: MySQL-3.23.14-1.i386.rpm the client package : MySQL-client-3.23.14-1.i386.rpm the developer package : MySQL-devel-3.23.14-1.i386.rpm) and the shared package : MySQL-shared-3.23.14-1.i386.rpm) To run MySQL you need at least the server and the client. To develop api's you will need also the shared package. Bye, G.Bubani |
