In Redhat Linux 6.2 I tried to complie MySQL C API client program but
failed. The gcc command I used was : gcc -I/path_to_mysql/include/mysql -L/path_to_mysql/lib/mysql myprogram.c -lmysqlclient Though the compiling was successful, but it showed a error message when I ran the *.out file: error in loading shared libraries: libmysqlclient.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory but why?I didn't have any idea at all...... |

I still don't know why nobody takes advantage of the "search" link found on this page at all. Anyway, start here -> http://www.devshed.com/Talk/Forums/Forum5/HTML/002149.html |
