    Hi all,
    Please help me out by answering this question of mine. I want to put together a database, actually a couple of databases. And i want to use SQL, mySQL to be exact, i want/need to know one thing about this. Will i have to use Perl to get the SQL database to work or will i have to learn and use PHP3? If someone could help me out and point me in the direction of a good tutorial so i can get a handel on learning these languages(SQL and PHP3 is all i need to know)I would greatly appreciate it.

    No problem. You can use Perl to connect to your MySQL databases, however I would suggest PHP. It is easier and more intuitive to perform database-related functions then Perl is. As an example of what PHP3/MySQL can do, DevShed is almost exclusively made with MySQL/PHP3.
