Ok...just installed MySQL two days ago. All is going well...I understand everything. My problem is this... How do I connect to the SQL server using Windows NT? I want to use the SQL Server ODBC driver to do it. But I get errors. Here are the errors: Microsoft SQL Server ODBC Driver Version 03.70.0623
Running connectivity tests...
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][TCP/IP Sockets]General network error. Check your network documentation.
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver]TDS buffer length too large
Like I said...Im new to this. What did I screw up? I can find no help. Heh heh...what makes it worse is that I am new to Linux as well... My company just decided to make me dive in head first. I understand how to set privleges, and know how to use the database...and log into the databases...but not how to connect from another machine. Thank you in advance for the help.
