Can anyone tell me how to run the command line access to MYsql do i need to install something else. I know MYsql is running because the PHPMyAdmin that i have installed works fine. However i want to learn how to create tables and databases using the command prompt.

    Thanks

    From the shell:

    mysql -u USERNAME -p

Then type your password at the prompt. These are your mysql username and password.

NOTE: you may have to include the path to mysql.
