Have a database written in MYSQL. There is a field now set up as follows "float(8,2) not null". Not every field has a value. If the field is blank it looks like this 0.00. I want the field to remain blank. Any ideas?
    Thanks

take out the not null part...define the default as null, see if that works.

    float(8,2) default null

Just tested it and it works. It's not "blank" but it's null, which is about the same thing.
