    ...I mean "VARCHAR". Anyway...With PHP and MySQL, I am making a form that writes info to a database from a form. It seems when a user inputs info into a form field and it uses an apostrophe, none of the info will write to the database. All of the fields are VARCHAR allowing null entry.     Single apostrophes must be escaped by the backslash character when used in your queries. use addslashes().
