I use the following to optimize and repair a database eg "ADbase"
mysqlcheck -u root -p --auto-repair -c -o ADbase
"do not support multiple contradicting commands" [mysql v5.5.24]
Why & how to do it right??
How can i direct the output to a log.txt file using eg --result-file="c:\log.txt" but not the direction operator >.
After reading the --help, use only -auto-repair -o
This seems to check, repair if error, then optimize table as show in the command prompt output.
IS THIS REALLY HAPPENING?
