    Selecting Records between *'s ?

    im at a loss at the moment ..

    Ive imported and cleaned up a pile of csv records into mysql as follows :

    Code:
    * Company1,,
    User1, Surname, mailboxSize
    User2, Surname, mailboxSize
    User3, Surname, mailboxSize
    *Company2,,
    User1, Surname, mailboxSize
    User2, Surname, mailboxSize
    User3, Surname, mailboxSize
    User4, Surname, mailboxSize
    what I need to do now though is select all UserX records under the *CompanyName field.. until it hits the next '*' then do some processing on them, then move to the next *Company..

    is this possible ?

    any thoughts how I'd write this query ?
