i was overjoyed when ASP.NET's ajax implementation finally supported a standard way of displaying pop-up balloons in november last year
however, my joy was short-lived when i came to realise that the balloon doesn't work properly on PCs of our network that haven't got .NET Framework 4.0
since i don't have the clout to make every one of 1000s of PCs upgrade to 4.0, is there another option available that doesn't require me to download bespoke balloon scripts ?
