newbie question
Hi. I have a friend who made a VB program that reads data from a website. More specifically, it takes game ratings from a website and lists them in his program. He is NOT displaying a webpage, he is just displaying some of the data from the original web page. My question: What is the best method to do something like that? I've tried googling this but I'm not sure what terms to search for...

if the website is yours, install a webservice
if the site is not urs download the html page with web control and parse the data |
