reading from lpt port in vb.net
I've been trying to find a way to easily read from my lpt port and output the data to the screen but I can't figure it out under vb.net. Outputing to the lpt port is no problem but according to an article on msdn - you cannot reverse the process to read from the lpt port. Any help would be much appreciated.

does no one know how to do this?
I tried to add some referneces to dlls that were suppose to allow me to read from the lpt port but when I added these dlls to vb.net i got errors saying they are not a valid assembly.
