    C# compiler

Is there a way to compile C# programs on win98 or linux? I want to write a program in this language but don't have a compiler for it!

The .NET SDK wich contains the C# compiler should work on Windows98. There is a project on sourceforge that is writing a C# compiler for Linux.

"This component cannot be installed on Microsoft Windows 95, Windows 98, or Windows ME. Upgrade your operating system to Windows NT 4.0 or higher and then rerun setup."

I HATE how microsoft does this. I paied good money for your stupid OS now don't make me upgrade!!!!

Hope C# compiler comes soon for linux, cause theres no way im paying for a professional edition of windows (which is all C# runs from).

    ARGH

Yeah, Microsoft likes to do that. But C# is worth it when you have it
