Angry 2 computers, xbox, and a 2wire modem

Okay here is my problem, I have my main computer hooked to the net via 10/100 cat 5e cable (rj45) to my sbc 2wire modem. The other (kids) computer goes to the same 2wire via usb cable. I now want to add my xbox to my internet link. How do I do this with out losing a computer? There are no other open slots on the 2wire modem. If I just run my xbox rj45 wire in here the only option I have is to unplug this computer. I don't want to do that. Also it seems as thought the rj11 wired computer is faster than the usb wired one. Is there a way I can plug one thing into the rj45 hole in the 2wire modem and then plug both computers and the xbox into it at the same time. My ultimate goal is to have my wife surfing ebay, the kids doing internet homework, while I race my brother (nascar 2004) online all at the same time...
Please help if you can...
-Mark

Easiest way to do this would be to buy a router. Connect the modem with the RJ45 (I don't think you mean RJ11) cabling to the WAN port on the router. Then, you should be able to connect the two computers and the xbox straight to the router. The router will take care of sharing out the Internet.

Thank you and you were right, I changed the 11's to 45's. Do you have any suggestions on which router I should by? And if so about how much money would think it would run me? By doing this, it would eliminate the usb cable form the kids computer right. I have more problems with that then anything right now. It is slow and seems to always come unplug when they need it the most. Those kids are so hard that computer.

Well, there are lots out there which will work fine. I'd probably go for one of these:

You're looking at around £50-£70 I'd guess. Maybe less if you were to go for a cheap one (which would probably work fine, although the setup process may not be quite as good).

Yep, there wouldn't be any need for the USB connection.
