2 static ips and 2 webservers

hi, how are you guyz

i am having a problem with my 2 servers
i have been assigned 2 static ips from my isp
72.214.44.7
72.214.44.8

right now i configure my network like this

Modem---Switch---- Server2(72.214.44.7)
|
|
Router ( ip assigned throgh router static ip 72.214.77.7 )
|
|-----Server1(72.214.44.8)
|-----wireless laptops ( 72.214.44.8 )
|-----xbox 360 ( 72.214.44.8 )
|----- ps3 (72.214.44.8 )

with this configuration my ip *.*.*.8 is working fine i can access it through any where.. unlikely (server2) *.*.*.7 i can only access from my laptop if i m on the network that is behind my router except that it dont work, like if i try to access it from my work or friend house i dont get any ping reply from server2

can anybody help with me with this thanks in advance

EARLIER I FORGET TO MENTION ROUTER AND SWITCH BRAND

ROUTER = LINKSYS WRT54G WIRELESS ROUTER
SWITCH = NETGEAR FS105 4 PORT SWITCH

If you have two static external IP's from your internet provider, use two routers, one for each IP, and put each webserver on it's own internal LAN. If that's even what you're trying to do, you gave a configuration with three or 4 different devices on the same IP address which won't work too well.

If you want to run one box with two separate IP addresses, google for "multi-home"

But if you just want to domains, you can use apache virtual hosts, and use a single IP address, and save your spare IP address for something else, such as a stronger firewall for your house network.

hi once again i have bought another linksys router wrt54g but having same problem now i can use 1 ip @ a time if 72.214.44.7 connects then 72.214.44.8 disconnects and if 72.214.44.8 connects then 72.214.44.7 disconects now m thinking to just return the router and switch

I have 5 IP's here, and use 4 with 4 different routers. Each IP ends up on an independent lan. The ISP connection feeds a switch that the routers connect to. All works as expected for me.
