2k to 2k network - one pc shows shared the other doesnt

2k to 2k network - one pc shows shared the other doesnt

I have a home network set up with two computers using win2k and both have files shared. I can ping from both computers but only one shows the files in network places, anyone know why? Also I have a firewall but Ive set a ip on the computers and told it to allow and also disabled it and still no difference.
