3 WinXP Home Machines, only 2 will share / are visible..

Hi,
I've 3 systems behind a Linksys 802.11b router.. two (Laptop and Upstairs) are connected via the 802.11 the third (Downstairs) is plugged into the back of the router.

All 3 can surf the net no problems. I enabled sharing on each of their "Shared Documents" folders, to make tossing files around easy, and still maintaining some security if the Laptop ended up on a network in an airport while on the road etc.

I have triple and quadruple checked that all are on the same Workgroup, XP's firewall is turned off on all three. Client for MS Networks and File & Print sharing are enabled on all. Yet if I try and view all computers in my workgroup, Downstairs never shows on the other two systems, and the other two never show on Downstairs. I can ping them, so connectivity is there..

.. just to further clarify, the Shared Docs folders that I shared arent visible from the machines that can't see each other.
And I figured out that regardless of visibility, you've gotta have the stupid Guest account activated to access a shared dir. Dumbest feature Ive seen yet.

Any and all suggestions greatly appreciated..

Yes, Netbios over TCP/IP is enabled on all connections. Though I was under the impression that was just for backwards compatibility with older Win's..

Try on all the computers using accounts with exactly the same username/password.

Outcome?

So were you able to fix it? I've got the exact same problem, 3pc's w/ one of them not seeing or visable in the network... everything i've checked seems good.

If you were able to fix it, please share the solution.

thxs
