7PC's at home, want EZ solution, but android too...
I have 5 Win8 and 3 Win7 PC's at home as well as an Android Phone and Tablet.
I want zero security within the network, but obviously I dont want the world browsing my files.
If I do a homegroup, all seems fine except my androids ask me for a username/password when I try to connect to a PC, say BigBen... but I do not have a password on BigBen, I simply log in as "mark" - as with most the other PC's.
I have tried sharing each of the folders I want to see on my other systems & androids, and the PC's can see them fine, but still I get asked for passwords on the Androids.
Any ideas how to enable any device on my network to be able to see shared folders?
Much appreciated guys,
