    Access subnet on university network

    Howdy, Devshedders!

I have a bit of a problem. I recently bought an IP camera for my dorm room that I would like to be able to monitor from around campus. Unfortunately, without the ability to port forward (since it's the university's network), I'm not sure how to make this a reality. Is there any way that I can make either just the camera, or camera attached to a router accessible elsewhere (other subnets) on the university network or from the internet?

You could access it from any subnet that knows how to communicate with the one the camera is on.

Try going to the IP address directly. If that doesn't work then you're out of luck.
