Accessing Tomcat from outside
Hi,
I have installed the Tomcat 4.1 on my windows/xp and it works local ok. But when I try to access the Tomcat from outside by replacing the local host in my IP address, I get error message: the page cannot be displayed.
I read all questions on the forum and disabled the firewall and Port forwarding I’ve done internal port 80, and external port 1964. But I do not have a router. Is a router always necessary in order to access the Tomcat from outside?
Thanks in advance for any answer.
