adding a wireless notebook to and existing home network
I just recently bought a wireless Dell Inspirion 8600 laptop that is running Windows XP. I have been trying to access my existing home network but have been unable. When I plug my laptop directly into the router I have access to the network. I have tried everything that I could find but nothing has work. I just want to be able to access the files on my desk top (running Windows Millinium) and be able to share the printer. I would greatly appreciate any help.

well, personally mate, i had wireless networking in my house, 3PC's to a PC which routed my internet, it was nothing but trouble, we took it back a few times, different brands of wireless LAN adapters.
its nothing but trouble i think we should all wait to its fixed before we all go wireless |
