ADSL Router/Hub Setup

Hi new to networking and just brought a Dynalink ADSL Router/Modem and a separate hub to connect two computers to the Internet.
I understand how all the cabling works to the nics, just concerned about the protocol settings and addresses.

How do I set-up XP and 98 to both connect to the Internet and share files and a printer between them.
