Billion BiPAC - Virtual server -> FTP not working
So, we have a Billion BiPAC 7402VGP router. Inside that we have a win2003 machine that all the other machines connect through. Firewall is disabled. NAT enabled.
Ive installed an FTP on that win2003 machine, gene6 to be precise. I have created accounts, bound the ftp to the IP toward the router and created forwarded ports to that machine. Still, it does not work. It seems like the ftp traffic just bounces off the router. I can connect to the FTP if i dont go outside the router. Another thing that might be of interest: I cannot properly FTP out, to ANY other ftp server either.. I can connect and list files, but cannot create or make directories. Have tried several servers, always get: [R] MKD test [R] 550 Access is denied Why does my router hate FTP? Thankful for any advice! Last edited by sliCeCube : April 9th, 2008 at 12:44 AM. |

You have ports forwarded, do you also need to create pinholes, or port filters to permit the traffic through?
