bluetooth personal network

Hi, im trying to decide whether to buy an iPAQ (hp 2210) as I would like to create a network between it and my desktop pc.

The HP 2210 supports bluetooth and I have a small bluetooth antenna that was included with my motherboard, a MSI KT400.
Would this be enough to allow me to use the internet connection from my desktop on the pocket pc? So far all the reviews I have been reading sort of hint at bluetooth networking, mentioning things like the need for a bluetooth enabled mobile phone to act as the modem?
The box for the bluetooth antenna also states that it will communicate with another device that has the usb host interface (sold seperately)

Can anyone help with this?
