Can't locate other laptops in my home wireless LAN

I want to share files/folders in my wireless home network of 3 laptops.
They all are connected to the internet, so no problem there.
But if I ping the laptops, I get "request timed out'.
I can; from every laptop ;ping successfully IP 192.168.0.100
and i'm also able to ping from 'laptop 1' the others.

The other 2 laptops cannot ping the other ones. What settings must i change?
Who can solve this?
Thanx

can the other 2 laptops ping external addresses? What's the IP address of your wifi base station? What's your gateway address? Can you ping either of them?

even though you can ping the IPs
have you set the workgroup names correctly? as they need to be 'exactly' the same (case-sensitive)

Do you have firewalls enabled on any of the computers?

I don't get what you mean by these. 10.255.64.36 is an internal private address, so can't be an external WAN one. Do you have a router or something which you can enable DHCP on, to set everything automatically for you?

Well, in my wirelkess router settings the DHCP server is enabled ; firewall is not.

The only thing what I want to achieve use the 'map network drive' in order to share some files between my laptops. I will not , for now, set up a home network.

That doesn't make sense. If you want to share files between computers then you will be setting up a home network.

Now, I don't know what IP address your router is on, but in this example, I'll presume it to be 192.168.0.1. I'd set the IP addresses for your individual computers manually, as something doesn't appear to be working. Set the IP addresses of computers to 192.168.0.x (changing x to give each computer a unique IP address). Then, set the subnet mask to 255.255.255.0 and the default gateway to 192.168.0.1. For the DNS servers, set these to the IP addresses of the DNS servers provided to you by your ISP.

Once you've done that, you should be able to ping between all of the computers and ping the router.
