Hello all-
I am having problems assinging a static IP address to one of my win 98 pc's. When I go into the TCP/IP properties, I click on the button to "Specify an IP Address," however when I click in the address field, it won't put a cursor there and when I try to type th e numbers in anyway, the pc just "dings" at me. Any suggestions on what could be wrong? I tried Windows Update, but none of the updates there have anything to do with networking... Thanks! Ed |
