Thumbs down Cant ftp between 2 computers

I dont know how to do this. I want to transfer a file from this computer to our basement computer. We have a router on this computer and the basement computer is able 2 get internet with the router wirelessly. I have flashfxp (ftp program i guess) and i dont know how to connect the computers together. Some help would be great.

and also the two computer names are called
*Basement

You've got a network between the two computers, so why can't you just use file sharing between the network, rather than using FTP? Make sure that file sharing is enabled on both machines, share the folder, then from the other computer open up my network places and the other computer should be listed.

FYI...FlashFXP is a FTP client. You'll need a FTP Server application like the one I use guildftpd - http://www.guildftpd.com/index.php

But I'd stick with the file sharing edwinbrains suggested. It should be easier for you to setup and manage.
