    Can't ping from remote router to host


    hey guys i am using a pc which is connected to my internal network with an ip address 69.4.161.101/24

    using this pc i have telnet from cmd into another router who's ip is 69.4.167.7/26

    i can ping to router from pc in cmd...but i can't from router to pc

    what do i need to do so that i can achieve layer 3 connectivity

    Perhaps ICMP response is turned off in your pc firewall

    my firewall is turned off all together...and there isn't a hardware firewall between my pc and the remote router i am telneting too

    just to ask the dumb question, you aren't behind another router are you? That IP address you gave is the ACTUAL IP for that machine?
