Cisco ACL
What would the following ACL do:
access-list 15 deny 1.1.1.1 access-list 15 deny 1.1.1.2 access-list 15 deny 1.1.1.3 access-list 15 permit any |

it does just what it says it denys
1.1.1.1 1.1.1.2 1.1.1.3 and permits everything else it either blocks them coming into a interface or blocks them leaving an interface cant tell which way cause you didnt put the access-group, unless you didnt put the acl in an access-group, or access-class then it would do nothing. |

The effect of it is exactly opposite of what I would expect.
In other words, the denied IPs are getting in and everything else is not. . . Well, the router died yesterday so that may have something to do with it ![]() |
