Cisco IP Accounting & Overhead...

We are considering running IP accounting on our routers and switches within our network. I would appreciate if anyone could share their experience with using this feature and the ramifications encountered in doing so. Specifically, I'm concerned about the overhead running this will have on our older routers (Cisco 2501 & 2514). Has anyone had experience using this feature that could let me know what they found? Thanks...
