Cisco PIX 501 Upgrade
I was asked to find an upgrade for our Cisco 501 PIX. I have looked at a newer Cisco ASA but the first one that I find that has gigabit should be mounted in a rack. We do not have a rack and we are not sure that we need one at this point. I have found, and seem to like, the SonicWall TX215 it does have gigabit ports.
The PIX is also set up as a VPN server. We have two offsite locations and that is what really leads me to my questions. Is the SonicWall easily capable of being a VPN server or is it just pass through? Even if it is will the SonicWall play well with the existing PIX at the offsite locations? Also, in general does anyone have reviews of the SonicWall? Thanks
