I am really stuck now. The Internet works fine on the XP machine. The Internet Adapter IP is 192.168.0.3, the NIC is 192.168.1.2. The win98 nic is 192.168.1.3. The win98 can ping the XP's internet adapter on 192.168.0.3 and its NIc, and can view all its files. But there is still no internet connection. Just tried ICS and had to run a system restore to get me back up and running.

sounds to me the XP machine is routing if you can ping its wireless interface. Im wondering if your router is using the static route correctly? also on your NIC at 192.168.1.2 did you give it a default gateway of 192.168.0.3?

Are you running any firewalls? Can you ping the router from XP? My guess is that routing is not enabled on the XP box. What sp are you running?
