Connection help
, let me sum it up. It has 3green bars on(out of 4). when i go to any site it says it cant locate server and some kind of DNS problem. when i go to the d-link utility i see its connected to my router in my house, but then there is data thing that shows the signals with sending and reciveing the signals from the Lan card to the Router, whent to WinIpCongif and every time i push renew under the D-link lan card the data rate go's up my intervals of 2, when i stop pushing it, the data rate gos to O. well any way i have a d-link 520

Sounds like your dlink router doesn't have the correct dns entries or your ISP is having problems.
It is totally expected that your data rates go up when you request a new ip address from your router. This does nothing for you since it is not the source of your dns issue. I would start with a call to your ISP confirming your DNS entries in the wan interface of the router. Entirely possible you missed a email from them telling you of the new configuration. |
