Consistency of wireless network...a program to monitor it?
i have a wireless AP and i want to know how consistent the connection is around the house....

Is there a program that i can leave running for an hour or so, that would monitor the strength of the network in that place?

im running 802.11b on xp pro

any advice would be great!

Any variance will show up with in just a few minutes, just watch you signal strength meter for a few minutes and it should not change much more than that unless it gets interferance from a cordless phone, if that happens just try a different channel on your AP and set your wireless cards on each PC to that channel.

Sorry, check download.com for free programs, I believe that there is one called airsnare or something like that. If no luck there search google.

ok i got airsnare but i get an error that i am looking for a fix for as we speak....

but if anyone knows of any other programs that would great...just incase i dont sort this one
