corrupt names on network places
Hi
I have a network which contains 1 linux pc with samba file share setup and around 60 windows xp pcs. When you click on network places to get the list of computer/server names the further you look down the list the names are all corrupt. !! Why is this and can it be sorted. Is it a netbios problem ? We do have a dhcp server but do not run wins (im not sure what the wins is) Thanks Nick |

Hmm.... define corrupt... do you mean wrong names? Or names with screwed up characters and symbols?
