Denied myself access to Hard Drive !!!!
HELP
I had denied all users on my local machine access to a spare hard drive on my system. Its is used to store important info i did not want anyone to delete. After a reinstall, I forgot to reset the security settings for the drive . Now I cannot access it. Denied.... Help me please. Surley there is a way around this. Think i'll just use a DVD-RW next time. |

On the security tab for the folder properties go to the advanced page and take ownership. Close and re-open the window and you should be able to assign yourself permissions to read the directory again.

Yup don't forget you need to be the Administrator to do so.
