Talking DI-624 Rev C - stops responding

My first post, hope this is the right place.

Installed my DI-624 router and when it works, it works great!!

Love the security features for Wireless.

Unfortunately, however, numerous times during the day, all the lights go out!

The only way I can get it restarted is to unplug the power, tech suport's answer, and reboot.

Have a P4, 1.3gHz desktop on an RJ45, a PIII Laptop on an RJ45 and occassionally a P4 1.4gHz on a wireless port.

There appears to be NO PATTERN. Sometimes it goes for hours with heavy use and no problem. Other times if fails every 15 minutes.

I haven't got a clue and neither does their support line, other than to ask me if it is too hot in my office. I wouldn't tolerate that!!

Please help.

Thread moved.

Perhaps you should try and upgrade the firmware.

Thanks, but I am running the latest, 2.42

It came that way out of the box. Someone suggested that I flash it myself, but that doesn't sound like a fix, just a wild guess.

If your firmware is up-to-date, I'd guess that you've got a faulty router. Can you return it and get a replacement under a warranty?
